Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Account: name, email address, phone number (with country code), password (stored only in hashed form), profile picture and bio. If you sign in with Google or Apple: the account ID they give us for ZeuxDrive, and the email and name they share (with Apple you can hide your real email).
• Your vehicles: make, model, colour, year, plate number, VIN, photos, and the distance the app has recorded.
• Location and driving: your precise location while you use the app and while live sharing is on (Android shows a notification, iPhone the blue location indicator); speed and direction; trips (start and end time, distance, average and top speed, harsh braking and speeding events). Detailed location points are deleted automatically after 7 days; trip summaries are kept while your account exists.
• What you share: stories (photos and captions), likes, convoy membership, chat messages (text, photos and voice messages), quick messages, vehicles you list for sale, SOS alerts, road-safety and hazard reports, tow and help requests (with location and photos), reports you make and users you block.
• Support and verification: messages, feedback and screenshots you send us, and the details and documents you submit for a verified badge.
• Device and technical: a push-notification token, your device type and an app-specific device identifier; server logs with your IP address and request times, for security; on Android, crash reports through Firebase Crashlytics.

We do notsell your information, show third-party ads, or track you across other companies' apps and websites.

2. Why we use it

• To run your account and let you sign in.
• To show you on the map, find drivers near you, run convoys, and send messages and notifications.
• To deliver SOS and safety alerts to the people they are meant for.
• To keep the community safe: review reports, enforce our Terms, block abusive users, prevent fraud and abuse.
• To fix crashes and keep the service secure.
• To answer you when you contact us.

3. Who can see what

• Other ZeuxDrive users see your name, profile picture, current vehicle, your stories and, while live sharing is on, your position on the map to drivers nearby. Convoy members see each other and the convoy chat; people you chat with see your messages. We never show your email address or phone number to other users.
• Users you block (and users who block you) can't message you and don't see your stories or position.
• Our service providers, only to run ZeuxDrive for us: Amazon Web Services (servers, database and file storage, in Canada), Google Firebase (sign-in, chat database, push notifications, crash reports), Google Maps (maps and places), Google (email delivery), Apple and Google (sign-in, if you use it), Cloudflare (secure network connection).
• Authorities, only when the law requires it.

4. How long we keep it

• Most information is kept while your account exists.
• Detailed location points: 7 days.
• Server security logs: up to 30 days.
• After you delete your account, copies in our backups disappear as the backups expire, within 35 days.

5. Deleting your account

Delete your account at any time in the app under Account → Delete account, or see zeuxdrive.com/delete-account to request it without the app.

We erase your profile, contact details, sign-in details, vehicles, trips, location history, stories, likes, convoys you created, chats, sales listings, requests, feedback, reports and blocks, and the photos and files you uploaded. We keep past SOS and road-safety reports, with your name and contact details removed, because other drivers and the safety history depend on them.

6. Your choices and rights

• Change your profile and vehicles in the app at any time.
• Turn off location access or notifications in your phone's settings (location features then stop working).
• Block and report users.
• Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information, or to object to some uses. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days.

7. Security

Connections to ZeuxDrive are encrypted. Email addresses and phone numbers are stored encrypted, and passwords only in hashed form. Access to our systems is limited and logged. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell you if a breach affects you, as the law requires.

8. Children

ZeuxDrive is for drivers. You must be at least 18 years old to use it. We don't knowingly collect information from children; if you believe a child has an account, contact us and we'll delete it.

9. Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
